Group Project 3

Q Assignment Instructions Follow the instructions below to complete the assignment. Select the Calendar on the Course Menu for the due date. 1. Download and complete End Evaluation for the Event Group Project [DOCX] 2. There is a peer evaluation at the end of the class for yourself and your group members. Please discuss how you will grade each other so there won't be any surprises. If you feel members did their portion of the project, it is fine to give each member full credit. Full credit does not need to be reserved for only leaders. Group assignments have an element of peer evaluation incorporated that contributes a specific number of points towards the final project grade. These evaluation points are earned based on the premise that each group member participated and contributed in a worthwhile and timely manner to the final work effort. However, should a group member not contribute quality work to the assignment in a reasonable and timely manner, the instructor reserves the right to remove additional points from that student’s assignment grade. The points deducted from the project will be based on the % of points group members assign each other on the peer evaluation as set by these guidelines: 40 - 50% of allowed points on the peer evaluation will result in a 25% deduction on the project grade 20- 39% of allowed points on the peer evaluation will result in a 50% deduction on the project grade 0 - 19 % of allowed points on the peer evaluation will result in a 75% deduction on the project grade. Example - a student receiving an average of 45% of available points from their peers on the final peer evaluation will have 25% of the points deducted from the group project grade. If the project is worth 100 points, a student receiving a peer score with only 45% of points given will receive a low grade for the peer evaluation and 75 points on the project. 1. Submit the evaluation. To do so: a. Save your document as FirstName_LastName_EndEval.DOCX. b. Select the assignment link above. c. Select the "Browse My Computer" button. d.
